Tiles last longer if they stay dry, out of direct sun, and off unfinished wood. A few habits keep the engravings readable for years.
Cleaning
Wipe resin or acrylic faces with a slightly damp soft cloth. Do not soak tiles, put them in a dishwasher, or use acetone or abrasive cleaners — these cloud the surface and fade the paint. Dry tiles fully before they go back in a case.
Storage
Use a case or bag so faces do not rub a rough zipper or each other. Keep sets away from car trunks in summer heat and away from radiators in winter — extreme temperatures can warp resin over time.
